We were disappointed to note the low contrast ratio of the notebook and when we titled the screen the colors got washed away. Even the backlighting is uneven. The images however were decent enough and the glossy screen improves the overall quality of the screen. The screen suits perfect to the budget of the laptop.

The keyboard of the machine has a mixture of chic let as well as traditional layout. The keys are raised and extended and are well spaced out. The keys provided excellent feedback and we really enjoyed typing on the notebook. The surface is smooth and glossy which subjects it to smudges. There are separate keys for page up/down, home, end etc.

The multi-touch Synaptics touch-pad of the machine has a bumpy textured surface which annoyed us. We would have liked the surface of the touchpad to have a smooth and matte finish. Though navigation was very smooth yet we felt it to be slightly uncomfortable to use. It could have been made better. The integrated mouse buttons produced some amount of noise when clicked.

The notebook is equipped with a couple of Conexant SmartAudio HD speakers which are located above the keyboard. A sub-woofer is located at the bottom. Thanks to the positioning of the speakers, one gets clear sound. The audio quality is decent and when the Windows and Dolby audio enhancement is turned on, the quality of the sound increases manifold. The audio is crisp and the machine provided a good amount of high and low tones.

Along with it users also get a 8-in-1 memory card reader which supports SD, miniSD, microSD, etc. We were disappointed to find that the machine does not feature a USB 3.0 port or eSATA. The memory card reader is located beneath the chassis of the notebook.

The Intel core i5-2410M dual core processor does when it came to multitasking. We were pleased to note that the machine could run videos, office apps and other apps simultaneously without any interruption.
