Toshiba NB300 Review
Toshiba NB300 Review
NB Series of netbooks by Toshiba have always been head turners in terms of design and looks. A silver plastic finish along with a semi shiny lid gives NB300 a professional look. With the battery tucked under the chasis, the netbook looks compact and sleek. The 10″ glossy LED screen displays pictures of resolution 1024×600 pixels and perhaps the greatest improvement in the netbook is the quality of the speakers.
The netbook, however, is not a very fast one, particularly its hard drive. So one should not expect too much out of this netbook. The netbook is perfect for web-browsing, creating office documents and carrying other apps.
Looks And Design
The NB series of the notebooks by Toshiba have been very strong in terms of construction and design and NB300 is no different. It has an attractive silver plastic finish and the lid is quite shiny. Because of the glossy nature of the lid, it is prone to smudges and fingerprints. It is very compact and inside you have a power button.
Keyboard
The keyboard of NB300 is raised and is chiclet in nature and the keys are very large which make them comfortable to type. The keyboard of the notebook has the same feel as that of Sony Vaio W
Toshiba NB 300 Features
The netbook is powered by Intel Atom N450 CPU, with processing speed measuring up to 1.66 GHz. One of the standout features of the netbook is its sleep and charge port. This port helps you to charge MP3 players and phones. The netbook also has an integrated web cam which provides a relatively decent web video chat.
