This is Better-than-Netbook performance for only $599 it also has a lightweight chassis. But considering the Weak speakers and the issue with keyboard and touch pad getting hot during prolonged use raises a concern. The Toshiba Satellite T135D-S1324 is powered by a AMD Turion Neo X2 mobile processor L625 / 1.6 GHz ( Dual-Core ) with a 13 inch monitor .
Looks And Design
At a first glance, Satellite T135D shares design which is very similar to that other Satellite series of laptops. The notebook boasts of fusion finish and when we opened the lid we found that the glossy treatment is meted out to keyboard and the screen. A lot of plastic has been used for building up of the laptop and the laptop feels pretty compact.

The laptop comes with a 320GB hard disk with a $GB RAM this can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB DDR2 SDRAM . The graphics department is powered by ATI Radeon HD 3200 HyperMemory with 256 MB of memory.The laptop has a inbuilt camera and the network connectivity supports IEEE 802.11b , IEEE 802.11g , Wi-Fi CERTIFIED , IEEE 802.11n (draft) .It comes with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition installed along with few other softwares.
Screen
The screen of the notebook has a 13.3 inches LED backlit screen which displays pictures of resolution measuring 1366×768 pixels. The colors displayed are sharp and the brightness level is also good. The colors looked and the brightness levels are also good. But we were disappointed by the quality of speakers.

Battery Life
The notebook is equipped with a 6 cell battery which gives a runtime of around 6 hours which is indeed very good.
The substandard keyboard and the webcam are the major drawbacks of the notebooks. If you can live up to it, then Satellite T 135D is a decent choice.
